Cup win was dream come true for Fraser

The Marine Harvest Premiership title may have returned to Badenoch for the eighth time in nine years, but there was an Inverness success story in the middle of it.

Ewen Fraser, a former Inverness Royal Academy pupil, joined Newtonmore at the start of 2018 and could barely have asked for a better debut season, as ‘More went close to sweeping the silverware.

The 23-year-old was full of positivity over how the year has gone – on and off the field.

“It’s been a fantastic season,” Fraser said.

“I think this being my first season, it’s been really good to get to know the boys, and everyone’s been really great and supportive."
