Man attacked and robbed in Inverness house

INVERNESS police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in a house in the city's Brown Street.

The incident in which a sum of cash was also taken took place at around 12.30am today (Monday).

Police are trying to trace two men who carried out the assault.

One is described as being in his early 20s and the other in his 30s.

They were both wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area at the time are asked to contact the police in Inverness on 01463 715555.
