Alexander Michie’s 73rd minute spot hit winner clinched Kingussie’s place in the quarter finals of the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup giving the 23 time winners a 3-2 replay win over Caberfeidh at The Dell.

Colin MacLennan gave Cabers an 11th minute lead which was quickly cancelled out by Rory MacGregor a minute later. Cabers went in front again through Liam Symonds in the 18th minute and held this lead until Louis Munro equalised in the 70th minute.

In the Marine Harvest Premiership, Kinlochshiel’s lead at the top was cut to two points after the champions were held to a 0-0 draw in Portree whilst Newtonmore romped to an 8-1 win over Lochaber.
