A spokeswoman for Police Scotland was unable to say how serious the incident is. It happened soon after 3pm.

Fire crews from Inverness, Dingwall, Dornoch and Balintore are in attendance and are using hydraulic cutting equipment.

Local traffic diversions have been put in place.
