Motorist charged following collision with minibus

A 27-year-old motorist has been charged following a collision on the B9013 near Roseisle which hospitalised a minibus driver.

The crash, which involved a BMW car and a Vauxhall Vivaro minibus, happened shortly after 2am on Sunday.

The BMW driver was traced on Sunday afternoon, taken to hospital, and subsequently charged in relation to a number of alleged road traffic offences including failing to stop and report a collision.

He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and will appear at Elgin Sheriff Court.
