Emergency engines dispatched in area

FORRES Fire Station's team has responded to local call-outs in recent weeks.

There were reports of fires in Forres, Kinloss and at Culbin.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS) spokesman said: "The service was alerted at 7.06pm on Saturday, September 8 to reports of small fire in the open near Mannachie Road. Operations control mobilised one fire engine to the scene, where crews extinguished the fire."

A crew was also dispatched to 2 Muirton Place, Kinloss at 4.55pm on September 11. The spokesman said: "This small fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of SFRS crews."

An engine also attended an open fire in Culbin Forest on September 13 at 11.22am to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service gain access to a premise.
