Firefighters tackle blaze at flats

More than 40 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at flats in Dundee.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent seven fire engines and specialist resources to the incident in Roslin Gardens when the alarm was raised just before 5am on Monday.

SFRS said around 42 firefighters and a number of officers were at the scene at the height of the incident.

By 8.45am, the number of appliances dealing with the incident had been scaled back to four.

There were no initial reports of any injuries.
