By SPP Reporter

IT company Alchemy Plus has formally launched what it describes as a "unique" service for small and medium sized firms.

The Dingwall business hopes its cloud computing network Itsmydesktop - which offers a range of computer services and avoids the need for customers to run their own servers - will grow rapidly.

Fifty companies in the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeen are already signed up and executive chairman Peter Swanson is aiming for national and international expansion over the next five years.

It is the only cloud computing serived based in the Highlands and claims to be the most flexible on the market.

Alchemy currently has a 17-strong workforce.
