POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three commercial premises were broken into in Fort Augustus over the weekend.

The butcher, chip shop and West End Garage were all targeted sometime between 11pm on Sunday and 7.30am on Monday.

A computer and a two figure sum was stolen from the garage and a three figure sum taken from the chip shop.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them on 0845 600 5703 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
