Ayr lie in wait if Nairn beat Forfar

NAIRN County will welcome Ayr United in the Scottish Cup fourth round - if they can overcome Forfar in their third round replay on Saturday.

Ayr beat Nairn's Highland League rivals Clach 2-1 in the third round last weekend, and are currently sixth in the second division.

The Wee County came back from 3-0 down at half-time to snatch a 3-3 draw at Forfar's Station Park, and will hope to go one better when the Loons come calling this weekend.

Last season Nairn reached round two of the Scottish Cup, where they lost 2-0 against Third Division Peterhead.

All fourth round ties will be played on the weekend of December 1 and 2.
