SQUASH champion Alan Clyne beat close friend and long-time training partner Greg Lobban to claim an eighth Scottish title in Edinburgh.

The defending champion Clyne, originally from Munlochy, overcame topseeded North Kessock competitor Lobban by three games to one in the final to win his third title in a row.
