Northern Constabulary are issuing travel advice to motorists in the area ahead of tonight's football match, which will attract large numbers of people to the area.

Police are advising motorists not travelling to the game to avoid the area surrounding the stadium between 4.30-6.30pm this evening as there is expected to be lengthy delays.

People travelling to the game are advised to set off early to allow extra time for any delays and be aware that there will be pedestrians crossing roads on their way to the match.

The roads are expected to be busy again after the match from approximately 7.45pm onwards
