Police plea after generators stolen at Dores

By SPP Reporter

POLICE are appealing for information after three generators were stolen from premises at Wester Drumashie, by Dores.

Officers say that a white transit type van was seen in the area between those dates and anyone with information about that vehicle to come forward.

The robberies happened between Wednesday April 6 and Friday April 8.

The stolen items include two Honda GX 200 petrol generators and a diesel powered Stephill 3.5KVA generator.

The Honda generators are worth around £350 each new and the Stephill generator can cost £3500 new.

Police would also advise anyone who may be offered such items to refuse and contact police.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police in Inverness on 0845 6005703 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
