Steven Ferguson says that there’s no better place for his Ross County squad to be than out in the Netherlands right now.

The Staggies have been in Holland all week for a pre-season training camp – an opportunity for the squad to come together after a summer spent rebuilding with lots of comings and goings.

They play two games this week – Sint-Truidense V.V. yesterday evening and Utrecht tomorrow.

Ferguson says that playing against high calibre sides who play different styles from what County are used to will be tough, but at the same time they are looking forward to rising to the gauntlet that’s been thrown down.
