Heroin haul seized on the A9

HEROIN worth over £60,000 has been recovered by Northern Constabulary within the past fortnight, police revealed today, (Monday).

Police seized a haul worth £30,000 from a vehicle on the A9, south of Inverness, on Saturday. A 29-year-old man has been arrested and reported to the Procurator Fiscal in Inverness.

The case follows another seizure of heroin, also worth £30,000 on the A9 on Friday, April 29. Two men, aged 40 and 33, were arrested and reported to the fiscal in connection with the incident.
