POLICE say a missing 46-year-old man has been traced in Ross-shire.
An alert was issued for David Fraser Headley from Newbridge by Lothian and Borders Police after he was last seen working in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, around 7.40pm on Wednesday.
There was concern as he had not returned home or made contact with family or friends.
Police, who carried out enquiries across Scotland, thought he might be heading to the Wester Ross or Sutherland area.
But today (Fri) police said Mr Headley had been traced safe and well in Wester Ross.
They thanked the public for their assistance.
