Wind warning for A9 Highland crossing

Traffic Scotland this morning posted a warning motorists planning the Kessock Bridge in the Highland capital.

Both northbound and southbound traffic were advised to use caution from 9.30am.

"Due to high winds currently affecting driving conditions."

An update later.

Meanwhile recent snow gate closures in the Tomatin area have ended and there are currently no snowgates closed in the region, the site confirmed.
