Motorists in the north end of the strath are being warned to watch out for icy patches on local roads.

Highland Council has said they are continuing to treat primary and secondary roads in the north of Strathspey but said that road surface temperatures are rising.

The A939 Grantown to Bridge of Brown and the B9007 Carrbridge to Ferness are still blocked due to drifting snow.

Some minor roads in the Nethy Bridge area also remain blocked due to drifting snow.

The council has said that there are no other known road problems in Badenoch and Strathspey this morning.
