Motorist caught in Aviemore with too much cannabis bi-product in his system





A 52 year old Muir of Ord man who committed two offences of drug driving and had a similar previous conviction will be sentenced next month.

Craig Jackson of Whin Riggs admitted driving with 5mcgs of a cannabis bi-product in his system on Grampian Road, Aviemore on February 5, 2023.

The safe limit is 2mcgs.

On April 11, 2023 on Sir Walter Scott Drive, Inverness, he committed a similar offence and on this occasion his reading was slightly higher at 5.2mcgs.

Sheriff Ian Cruickshank called for a background report and deferred sentence until July 18 earlier today at the city court.
