Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash on A86 near Newtonmore





A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision near Newtonmore at 12pm today.

The A86 was closed between 11.40am and 1.20pm after a road crash involving a car and a motorbike.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 11.40am on Monday, 8 July, to a report of a crash on the A86 near Newtonmore involving a car and a motorbike.

“Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital by helimed.

“The road was closed and reopened around 1.20pm.”
