Yellow weather warning in place for weekend for Highlands

Further snowfall has the potential to cause disruption Saturday evening into Sunday in Badenoch and Strathspey.

A wide area of the Highlands is included in the latest warnings issued today.

Some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.

Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are likely.

Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
