Missing Grantown man found





Police Scotland have confirmed tonight that missing Grantown man Ian Alexander has been found safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal," said a spokesperson for the force.

An appeal had been launched after the 27-year-old man had been reported missing from an address in the Strathspey capital.

He had last been seen at about 8.45pm on Friday as he was dropped off at a train station in Tamworth, Staffordshire and was expected to have travelled by train via Manchester and Glasgow, to return to the strath.

No further details have been released.
