Missing girl found safe in Aviemore

A 14-year-old girl reported missing this afternoon has been found safe and well in Aviemore.

Police Scotland had issued a missing person's appeal at around 6pm for Kimberley Green.

Concern had been growing after she was reported missing at 4.30pm and her description was circulated.

She had been last seen at a property on the A95 close to Boat of Garten.

A force spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public for their assistance in tracing missing teenager Kimberley Green who was found safe and well in the Aviemore area."
