McNeish talk in aid of mountain rescue
Renowned hillwalker and climber Cameron McNeish will share his 20 years of TV experience at a talk in Inverness next Friday (November 25).
The outdoors writer and broadcaster is to present an evening of video clips, photographs and discussion to help raise funds for local mountain rescue teams.
Cameron, who lives in Newtonmore, has made a number of television programmes for the BBC, including Wildnerness Walks, The Edge: 100 Years of Scottish Mountaineering and is a regular presenter on The Adventure Show.
He has also made a number of programmes about long-distance walks including The Skye Trail and The Sutherland Trail.
On the evening, he will recall some of his most memorable moments that took place when making these and other shows and illustrate the spectacular landscapes that make up the Highlands.
The talk takes place at Millburn Academy, Diriebught Road, Inverness, at 7.30pm.
