Badenoch and Strathspey's positive covid tests latest

Public Health Scotland's seven-day figure for positive Covid tests indicate the latest tally in the strath is around 16.

Acording to statistics published on social media last night the Highland total now stands at 560, an increase of 58 over the week.

The Highland Council area rate is now 237.5 (up from 212.9) per 100,000 population (over 7 days) and positivity rate over the week (how many tests result in positive results) is now 10% (up from 9.3 per cent).

The public are reminded that the positive test figures are only an indicator.
