Man appears in court accused of attempted murder in Aviemore

A 55 year old Forres man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of the attempted murder of a woman in Aviemore.

The charge against John McGrath alleges that the assault took place in the Macdonald's Highland Resort in August of this year.

He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
