Lottery win for Aviemore street residents

Five people in Aviemore are celebrating today after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Craigellachie Crescent neighbours netted the windfall when PH22 1PA was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery.

Postcode lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners in the street at the north end of the village off Dalfaber Drive.

He said: “What a fantastic way to start the week! Congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy spending the cash and get themselves a treat with their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This latest draw was promoted by Depaul which has received more than £10.8 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

It is a nationwide charity for youth homelessness, working to tackle the immediate and long-term effects of homelessness and provide safe and stable futures for young people.
