LNER launches rail tickets for the festive and New Year period
Hundreds of thousands of tickets have gone on sale for travel with LNER over the Christmas and New Year period from today.
Customers can now book their seats for travel between Friday 20th December 2024 and Friday 3rd January, next year.
LNER runs a daily service connecting the strath with Edinburgh, Newcastle and London as well as several stops in between
David Flesher, commercial director at LNER, said: “We know this is a special time for many people. Each year we look forward to welcoming customers who travel with us over the Christmas period, be it going to see loved ones or exploring the wonderful markets and events on our route.
“We’re delighted to place hundreds of thousands of tickets on sale to help customers to book in advance for the best value fares.”
The best value LNER fares are available when booked direct on the LNER website or app.
There is no booking fee, customers can select their preferred seat and receive live journey alerts both on their mobile and through a special QR code they can scan onboard. More than a million people have already signed up for LNER’s loyalty scheme, LNER Perks.
