Through Badenoch and Strathspey and on to new world LeJog record

The army team who jogged through the strath yesterday duly made it to John O'Groats in record time for an effort done completely on foot.

Record breakers!
Record breakers!

A spokesperson confirmed: "Well the team have gone and done it – they didn't just break the record, they absolutely smashed it out of the park."

The team of army instructors ran from Lands End to John 'O Groats to the top of the mainland in just three days, 23 hours and 40 minutes, slashing a huge chunk off the earlier record of four days, 18 hours and two minutes held by FFJogle2016(UK).

That record had stood for six years.

The Royal Army Physical Training Corps Instructors set out in shifts to cover the 813-mile course in aid of the Royal British Legion.
