The main road across country from Loch Laggan to Fort William has been closed all evening following landslips.
The alarm went up at 7:02pm and the road remains closed.
"Eastbound and westbound," Traffic Scotland's website confirms.
"The A86 is currently closed in both directions at Roybridge due to a hazard on the carriageway. Road users are advised to use an alternative route at this time."
Police Scotland Highland & Islands are advising: "Due to landslides, there is a road closure on the A86 between Laggan and Spean Bridge.
"The B863 is also closed in its entirety.
"Diversions are in place and the public are asked to avoid the area if possible."
