Kingussie's Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final is a sell out

The Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup is shinty’s greatest prize and one of Scotland’s oldest and most

iconic sporting trophies and this year’s final between Lovat and Kingussie is set to be one of the most

exciting finals in recent times.

It is no surprise, then, that tickets are no longer on sale and the final has sold out, with a record number of fans set to enjoy Scotland’s community sport in its grandest form.

Lovat have appeared in five of the last seven Camanachd Cup finals and will be looking to secure their third

Camanachd Cup win, adding to victories in 2015 and 1953.

Kingussie, on the other hand, are in the final for the first time since 2014 and are second in the all-time

holders list with 23 triumphs.

The Camanachd Association are advising anyone without a ticket not to travel to Kingussie after tickets were sold out.

Those who were unable to secure tickets can catch all the action as BBC Scotland will be broadcasting the final live this Saturday at 2pm or catch the highlights later on BBC ALBA

Tickets to the MacMaster Cup Final will be available on the day, however, individuals will have to leave the confines of The Dell after the match.
