Kingussie school bus involved suffers damage on home run

A Kingussie High School bus was involved in a minor incident on the home run to Aviemore this afternoon but no pupils were injured.

The school has informed parents in correspondence: "The Aviemore number 3 bus has suffered some damage to the door resulting in the door window being smashed."

A replacement bus collected pupils and took them on to Aviemore.

Headteacher Ian Adamson is discussing the incident with the bus company.

A school spokesperson said no pupils were injured and apologised for any inconvenience.

The Strathy has contacted the school for more information.
