Badenoch meets on the Burall Bequest this morning at the Iona Gallery
Kingussie gets its chance to talk about the Burall Bequest - made to the former St Vincent’s Hospital - this morning.
More than £330k was left to the hospital by American Theresa Burall and local campaigners have been trying to establish just how much of it has been spent and what will happen to the fund that’s left.
Local campaigners are hoping for a big turnout from the public at the Iona Gallery in Duke Street at 10am.
The meeting - which follows an earlier one at the Aviemore Hub - is being staged by Highland Health Board Endowment Funds Charity, who are responsible for administering the Burall Fund.
On behalf of the local campaign, Dr Mary Anderson told the Strathy: “They are keen to have local people's contributions with ideas and suggestions as to how this money might be spent.”
Further details about the Highland Health Board Endowment Fund Charity and the Burall Fund can be found at Burall Legacy Fund Engagement.
People are also still able to contribute ideas for use of the money, if they cannot attend this public meeting, by completing the survey which is available until tomorrow.
