A 33 year old Kingussie man who was reported missing by police on July 28 has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on two charges including one of assaulting a woman to her severe injury.

Stewart Braisher was also facing a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour.

It follows an alleged disturbance in Royal Court in Kingussie on Thursday July 26 to which police were called.
