Kingussie man appears on petition at court

A Kingussie man has appeared on petition at Inverness Sheriff Court today charged with sending a communication of a sexual nature to a girl aged under 16.

It is an offence under the Sexual Offences Scotland Act 2009.

Depute fiscal Karen Smith told the court that Simon Harkai faces one other similar charge and he made no plea or declaration when he appeared before Sheriff Andrew Berry.

He was released on bail pending further inquiries.
