Key workers invited to view new houses for rent in Aviemore
HHA is hosting an open day at the Bynack More development in Aviemore tomorrow to showcase seven new homes being made available only to key workers.
They are being offered to rent at mid-market rent tenure.
It is part of an attempt to ease some of the staffing crisis for public services in the strath caused by high property prices in certain hotspots including Aviemore.
Those eligible include emergency services staff, healthcare professionals, care workers and teachers.
The homes have been delivered with more than £500,000 funding support from the Scottish Government via its Rural Affordable Homes for Key Workers Fund, Highland Council and Inverness and Highland City Region Deal.
The brand-new three-bedroom family homes feature open-plan living and kitchen spaces with private garden space.
The open day will give attendees the opportunity to view the well-appointed homes and meet the HHA team to register their interest.
Gail Matheson, CEO at HHA, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming local people to our open day this Friday.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to see first-hand the fantastic rental opportunities now available for local key workers.
“The homes are perfect for growing families with three spacious bedrooms and bright, open-plan dining and living areas.
“They also feature private rear gardens and have been finished with high-quality finishes throughout, including flooring and blinds.
“Since opening for applications in late September, we have received a high volume of applications so we’d encourage people to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid missing out.”
The open day takes place from 10am to 4pm at 34 Ben Avon Place at the housing development.
No appointments are required to attend the open-day and parking is available.
