Aviemore parkrun in the sun is number one for 50!





There were congratulations to local runners Sharon Sutherland and Anna Moss at today's special Aviemore ParkRun. Sharon completed her 100th event today, while for Anna it was number 50th - and what a day they chose for it!

The sun shone and the views to the mountains distracted runners from the increasing heat!

First person home was 15-year-old Rowan Taylor from near Edinburgh, with a blistering time of 16:50.

A line up of 101 people walked, jogged or ran the 5km course, more than 65 of them being visitors to the area.

Of those 65, nearly 50 were in the strath for the first time.
