Inverness street return to normal after traffic ban

A relieved Highland Council has confirmed that full access has at returned to normal on Academy Street and Strothers Lane in Inverness.
Two-way traffic is flowing on Academy Street, a spokesman was "pleased" to report on Tuesday (August 16).
Hoardings have already been removed from the M&Co building where works are being undertaken to restore the property, following a fire in April 2015.
Full access has also been restored to Strothers Lane, with barriers removed allowing the Academy Street - Strothers Lane – Queensgate junction to fully re-open.
