Inverness man in court on attempted murder charge

An Inverness man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of attempted murder and an offence under the Air Weapons Act.

Brian Robertson (45) from Inverness made no plea, was fully committed and remanded in custody.

Co-accused Maureen Mackenzie, (49), from County Durham appeared on a charge of assault, attempting to pervert the course of justice and two charges of abduction.

She too was fully committed and remanded in custody.

They will appear in court again on March 23 or 24.
