Identity of man who died in Aviemore house fire confirmed
A man who died in a house fire on Aviemore’s Strathspey Avenue yesterday (Wednesday) has been named by police as 38-year-old Colin Glen.
A joint police and fire investigation into the cause of the fire, which took place around 8.34am, is ongoing.
As part of the enquiries, Police Scotland is appealing to anyone who saw Mr Glen in the Inverness or Aviemore areas during the afternoon or evening of Tuesday (February 3) to make contact.
The force descriped Mr Glen as being 5’10", slim build with short brown wavy hair.
He is thought to have been wearing a black jacket with red zips, grey trousers, black boots and carrying an Umbro back pack.
He was last sighted in the vicinity of the Cooperative supermarket on Granish Road in Aviemore at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
