Wintry blasts continue but today’s roads condition report for Badenoch Strathspey from the Highland Council’s team confirm there are no problems.

The Badenoch and Strathspey report, issued at 7.36, highlighted wet roads throughout the area with frost/ice patches.

“Some snow fell overnight but it’s not caused any problems.

“All routes are being treated this morning with no known overnight issues.”

On the Nairn sign the story was the same.

On the Inverness routes the low road surface temperatures this morning prompted treatment covering all policy routes, but there were no known issues.

No schools had to close today because of any weather interference.
