Another step has been taken to open the new £10 million retail park in Aviemore as Home Bargains has applied for an alcohol licence.

The discount store will occupy one of the larger units on the Myrtlefield site and has asked Highland Council for permission to sell alcohol.

If granted by the licensing board on Tuesday the licence will be valid between 10am and 10pm, seven days per week.

Superdrug, Aldi and Tiso are among other stores to confirm they will open at the retail park.
