Hollywood movie star Dan Aykroyd stays the night in Inverness

Hollywood movie star Dan Aykroyd and his family stayed in Inverness last night.

Famous for his roles in Ghostbusters and The Blues Brothers, the 70-year-old Canadian actor spent the night at the Culloden House Hotel.

He wrote in the visitor log book: "Thank you for a delightful and historical stay."

A spokesman for the hotel stated on Facebook: "If your coming to Inverness... 'who you gonna call?'..... CULLODEN HOUSE.

"We had the pleasure of Dan Aykroyd and family stay with us last night. What a delight."
