South travellers on A9 warned of closure





Highland travellers heading south on the A9 are being warned that the road is closed near Stirling.

The closure followed a serious crash involving a military truck near Dunblane.

Emergency services responded to the incident on the A9 near Keir Roundabout north of Stirling shortly after 9.45am.

Traffic began building up after the lorry overturned.

Latest information from Traffic Scotland is that both north and southbound traffic is blocked currently.

"A9 Doune road - M9 J11 (Keir)Traffic is restricted at Keir roundabout due to a road traffic incident.

"Motorists are advised to approach with caution and should allow for longer than normal journey times."
