Missing islander found after Highland search

Highland police have posted the tracing of a Lewis man who went missing on Tuesday.

"We can confirm that 61-year-old Gordon MacKay, reported missing from Bragar, on the Isle of Lewis has been traced safe and well."

The multi-agency search for Mr MacKay had involved the coastguard and mountain rescue team and yesterday's appeal had asked the public to check their sheds and outbuildings.
