Popular Aviemore charity shop to reopen in the morning
Highland Hospice is to reopening its Aviemore shop tomorrow after a month-long refurbishment.
With a refreshed layout and a strong focus on outdoor wear and activities, the shop’s new look will also continue to offer the usual range of fashion, bric-a-brac, and other treasures.
Susan Cooper, commerce manager for the charity, said today: “We’re thrilled to welcome customers back to our Aviemore shop just in time for the festive season. With its fresh design and focus on outdoor clothing, it’s a perfect fit for the active, adventure-loving community in the area.
“Every purchase supports the vital care we provide at Highland Hospice, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support of our customers.”
Marta Dolna, the shop’s assistant, shared the excitement: “The transformation is amazing! We can’t wait to show our customers our new look and to help them find unique pieces for themselves or their loved ones. It’s been a joy to be part of this journey, and we hope the community loves the results as much as we do.”
As the shop prepares for its grand reopening, Highland Hospice is calling for new volunteers to join the Aviemore team.
“Volunteering at the shop is a wonderful way to give back,” said Ms Cooper, “to meet new people, and contribute to a great cause.”
Anyone interested in volunteering can visit the shop for more information or email volunteer@highlandhospice.org.uk .
The doors will officially open at 9am tomorrow.
