This Saturday marks the start of the 102nd edition of the Tour de France with a short time trial in Utrecht marking the Grand Depart.

The Tour de France is arguably the greatest endurance race in the world and High Life Highland will be getting in on the action with the TDF indoor cycling challenge running to 26th July at their sports centre in Aviemore, Kingussie and Grantown.

Those taking part will also have the chance to spin to win.

A spokesperson said: "Each participating centre has a yellow jersey cycle top up for grabs and the pièce de résistance one lucky winner will cycle away with the grand prize of an official Carrera TDF road bike.

"Each time you attend an indoor cycling class during the challenge you will receive an entry into the prize draw, the more you spin the greater chance you have to win. The challenge is free to High Life Highland members."
