Heavy snow making driving conditions difficult in Badenoch and Strathspey

Police Scotland and Highland Council are advising that a number of roads in Badenoch and Strathspey are currently badly affected by heavy falling snow.

Police are urging road users travelling in the area to do so with care.

A Highland Council spokesperson said: "We have been experiencing heavy snow showers In Badenoch and Strathspey and our TECS Services staff have been gritting mostly primary and secondary roads according to our gritting policy."
