Trucks roll into Grantown as mega lorry event resumes in perfect conditions
The big trucks roared back into Grantown yesterday after last year’s unavoidable break for health reasons from one of the Strathspey capital’s great days out.
The only other break in the hugely successful series of truck fests had come during the Covid pandemic.
Perfect conditions greeted “Truck In2 Grantown on Spey 2025”and organisers were overwhelmed by the support shown.
“Thank you to each and everyone of you that came to the show!” posted the team behind the event, which was sponsored this year by Elgin Truck & Van Centre Ltd.
“We hope you all enjoyed your day.”
Sampling the event was Kingussie’s Highland Horse Fun boss - and lorry driver - Ruaridh Ormiston, who took these pictures.
He told the Strathy: “It was my first truck show and I really enjoyed meeting old and new friends.
“This was a really great opportunity for our Knights of the Road to spend some quality time together, when they normally just pass each other on the road like ‘ships in the night’ to actually have a chance to speak and catch up with each other.
“And, wow, there was some seriously nice machinery!
