Solidarity with Ukrainians and many others sealed in an international album

The world is being invited in to Grantown’s community hub to sign an international book of co-operation.

Bill Sadler, chairman of the Grantown Society, told the Strathy: “There is a full exhibition in the hub this week - International week - as we are celebrating our diverse community.

“We are inviting all those of different nations and cultures to come and sign our international album and perhaps add a comment or a recipe, picture, flag, personal history, etc.

“We want to thank all those people for contributing to our community.

“Everyone is invited to come in for a chat and also to see our Ukraine display for Holodomor day - on Saturday and in text, objects and film the stories of Alek the Pole and Teodor Morykit.”
